History of the Sealyham Terrier Club of Canada.

In 1982, a small group of interested Canadian fanciers formed the Sealyham Terrier Club of Canada (STCC), and in the intervening period this body has worked to support the cause of the breed in this country. We have been asked how a very small breed club, attempting to function nationally in the very large geographical area of Canada, can exert a useful influence. There is no doubt that major problems do face our organization.

A newsletter called "The Sealyham Sentinel" is published quarterly, and helps members to stay in touch with each other as well as giving the latest Sealy news. In addition, we sponsor Booster (supported entry) and Specialty shows in alternate years. These shows are held in different areas of the country and give both exhibitors and members a chance to exchange ideas.

The club maintains close ties with the U.S. and also has several international members who keep us up to date with Sealyham activities in other countries. The club welcomes anyone who owns a Sealyham, or has an interest in the breed. For more information, please contact us.
